Emma’s
music career has been a fantastic journey and it began in 2006 when
Emma was only five years old. She studies and records with the multi-talented
vocal instructor and director, Dan Whitley of the Lettermen, Justus
Brothers, SunShade’n Rain, and founder of the Notable Youth Foundation.
After only one year of training, it was apparent that Emma was born
with an extraordinary love for music and natural skill in both breath
and pitch control. Emma has also developed a remarkable ability
to memorize lyrics and tunes.
Emma has dedicated herself to not only private vocal lessons, but
also the Whitley Music School group lessons which have turned her
into
a gifted singer and performer. With the support from her parents,
Emma recorded her debut album, “Who Am I”, in the matter of a few
short weeks. Emma’s stunning talents combined with Dan Whitley’s
coaching style have resulted in a compilation of music with a unique
emotional quality. Every song is filled with heart and conviction.
So at the age six, not only is Emma entering the first grade, she
is also releasing her first CD.
Emma has touched audiences with delightful performances on many
occasions. Emma is the back-up singer for recording artist Shalyn
Becknell in the remake of the Karen Carpenter’s song, “Sing”. She
particularly enjoys dancing, singing, and recording music with her
little sister, Grace.
In a world full of choices in the media, Emma’s music is aimed at
preserving important values and the musical talents in all of us.
